U.S. Corporate Tax Rate: Unchanged Over Decade and Almost Twice World Average

U.S. corporate tax rates have hovered around 38–39% for over a decade amid a decline in rates in other countries around the world. Now our rate is almost twice the world average rate. Thanks to the Tax Foundation’s Tax Policy Blog for this info. It seems like there is some room for the U.S. to be more competitive in this area, but perhaps this is just a premium businesses are willing to pay to operate in such a great country.

Another Reason Not to Move to Wisconsin

Aside from the bitter cold, there might soon be a better reason to avoid living in or moving to Wisconsin.
