U.S. Corporate Tax Rate: Unchanged Over Decade and Almost Twice World Average

U.S. corporate tax rates have hovered around 38–39% for over a decade amid a decline in rates in other countries around the world. Now our rate is almost twice the world average rate. It seems like there is some room for the U.S. to be more competitive in this area, but perhaps this is just a premium businesses are willing to pay to operate in such a great country.
